Simulinc provides independent, detailed assessment of flight simulator documentation and data, delivering a written report with findings and recommendations. Our evaluation services support organisations through tendering, data validation, testing documentation, and ongoing compliance.

Review Requests for Tender

We can assess your request for tender (RFT) to ensure:

Your operational requirements are clearly defined.
The proposed device will meet those requirements.
The RFT accurately reflects what you need.
Tender responses can be objectively evaluated and ranked.
Each tender offers a current, state-of-the-art solution.
You are not being offered (or charged for) unnecessary capabilities.

Evaluate the Proposed Data Set

For organisations conducting data-gathering flights, we review the collection plan to ensure:

All necessary test points are included with adequate variation in weight, CG, configuration, speed and altitude.
Appropriate redundancy is built in.
The flight test crew understands the unique requirements of simulator data-gathering, which differs from conventional flight testing.

Evaluate the Proposed ATG/IQTG

We review the proposed ATG/IQTG to confirm:

A complete and valid set of tests is included.
All reference data aligns with the approved data set (a frequent issue where mismatches cause failures).

Experience and Track Record

Simulinc has conducted the Initial Accreditation and Evaluation of flight simulators for the Australian and New Zealand Defence Forces.

Evaluations

Full Flight Simulators:
B707, C130H, C130J, P3C, B737 Wedgetail, S70A-9 Black Hawk, ARH Tiger, MRH-90 Taipan, MH-60 Romeo, EC135, SH-2 Sea Sprite.

Flight Training Devices:
ARH Tiger, F/A-18F Super Hornet, Hawk, T-6C.

Additional recent evaluations include:
NZDF SH-2G(I) Sea Sprite FMFS, NZDF T-6C Texan FTD and NZDF NH90 FTD.

We are also engaged by the Canadian Defence Force to provide advice and undertake recurrent evaluations for CC130J and CC295 devices. Simulinc continues to support the ongoing compliance of ADF devices through the recurrent checking process.

Review Proof-of-Test Results

Before submission to a Regulatory Authority, we can review your simulator’s proof-of-test results to identify:

Discrepancies in initial conditions or procedures that may invalidate a test.
Situations where tests cannot be brought within tolerance and whether grounds exist to seek a waiver or tolerance expansion.
