Simulinc is a specialist consultancy with more than 30 years of experience in flight simulators and simulator standards. We advise the Australian Department of Defence, New Zealand Defence Force, the Canadian Department of Defence, and the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA), and are approved by both CASA and the Royal Australian Air Force to conduct flight simulator accreditations.

Our Role in Aviation Standards

Regulatory authorities from Australia, New Zealand, Brazil and Malaysia send their inspectors to Simulinc for training in simulator evaluation. Personnel from numerous national defence forces have also completed this training, reflecting the strong reputation and depth of expertise our organisation provides.

Our Background and Expertise

Our staff have authored key Australian simulator standards, served as delegates to the International Working Group that drafted the ICAO MCQFS, and contributed to the formulation of the current Australian Manual of Standards Part 60. We also lecture on aircraft simulation at UNSW.

Why Organisations Trust Us

In addition to understanding the latest publications from ICAO, Europe and the FAA, we understand the history, rationale and debates that shaped them. This depth of knowledge positions Simulinc to provide accurate, informed guidance on simulator standards and requirements at both national and international levels.
